    3. Hello, I would like to know as well, if the final schematic and part list is the best option for IRFZ44N? I am confused because of the small inverter with 12 kohm + 15ohm for IRFP44N verses the larger one with 10ohm 3.3ohm and 22k ohm.

      I had to use bread board and a lot of solder so my tracks are huge compared to your board, this likely allows way too much current as well, yes? I imagine it would......

      1. I am curious if I can double 1/4 watt resistors for more current protection? Raise the AMP resistance on the resistors to help protect the mosfet transistors from being overloaded if they are under high AMP's?

      I am a novice so I am kind of just guessing as I go. Thanks. I followed the Strong Inverter MT158 design with all components listed. The only issue is that when I turn it on all my transistors catch fire. I tried with 2SK2753 and it turns on but after another try they also catch fire.

      Am I using the wrong kind of battery, perhaps? The starting amps of the battery I used is 675 Marine Cranking AMPs, 550 Cold Cranking AMPs, only 65AMP hours. It is not a deep cycle battery, so I am thinking maybe that is the reason? Too many amps to start?

      2. Everything works well with the miltivibrator CD4047BE just fine. Only the transistor mosfet's end up breaking. They catch fire as if I have WAY too many AMPs running through them. The space netween the 'drain' and the 'source' is what burns up.

      I am now trying to use just a copper wire to connect them instead of the bread board, the wire is smaller than what I had made with the big solder area. I hope that I can reduce the AMP current with some new IRFP44N if I use just the wire. I have broken one set of 10 IRFP44N and one set of 10 2SK2753. haha fire....

      I will try a 12 volt set of LiPo batteries next, instead of the Car Battery I used before, so that hopefully I do not blow this next set of mosfets.

      I am also using a rewound microwave transformer 11/0/11 turns with 10 gauge wire, perhaps this alters parts needed?

      3. Also I would like to ask you, is IRFP260MPBF transistor mosfet a suitable replacement for 2SK2753? I can get these easier in Canada. Thanks.

      4. Finally, what do you recommend as the battery power limits, as in Max AMPs/ Max Voltage? What kind of battery? Deep Cycle? I can see the brand name of your battery, but not which model. I see you say "battery is important" in the video but I do not see the battery specifications in the video or written.

    4. I finally got it to work, for anyone else asking. I used 8 IRFP260M. I was using 12v pack of lithium ion batteries and the IRFP44Ns just blew up. But the IRFP260M are a bit better I assume with how many AMPs you can pout through them. It might have had something to do with that I did not put a load on it too before I turned it on, but, I am too afraid to test it to see if that is the case because I will not get the new shipment of Mosfets in for a month. But, regardless, at least it works now and they have not blown up. I think the IRF3205 look like they have good AMPs as well compared to the IRFP44N's. Please keep in mind I am also using a rewound microwave transformer as well with 11-0-11 10 gauge wire with 21 lithium ion 18650 battery pack. 12-0-12 would likely work too but I could not fit in any more wire.

    5. I also have this on the mosfet gates. haha as I said I am too afraid to take anything off for now, it may help or may be unnecessary. But, in case anyone else is trying this I would rather say it than not. I used the IN4148 from his previous design for this.
